The socialist movement mobilises the working class to resist these attacks and advocates for a socialist alternative—democratically redistributing wealth from the elite to meet the needs of all. Emphasising the importance of building democratic trade unions and a mass workers’ party, the party recognises the international scope of the struggle for socialism, actively participating in the worldwide Committee for Workers’ International.

Enforce a 32-hour workweek without pay cuts, banning insecure zero-hour contracts.

Reject austerity, demanding wage increases in line with price growth.
